Sumner Arts Festival Car Show and Tour Saturday, August 2, 2008 Event Schedule 9:00-1:00 Car Show and Sumner Arts Festival (Car show will be held in the Sumner High School parking lot adjoining the softball field and perimeter of the Arts Festival. 1:00-3:46 Tour (Tour will start at Sumner High School, and will wind around Lake Tapps, Wilkeson, Carbonado, South Prarie, Orting, and Sumner.) The tour will finish at a local restaurant near Lake Tapps for food and/or merriment if you wish.
Directions to Sumner High School are as follows: From the North take Highway 167 South (Valley Freeway). Take the Sumner/Yakima exit which becomes Highway 410 East. Follow 410 East to the Valley Avenue/Orting exit (2nd exit into Sumner). Turn left onto Valley, and go to Main St. Turn left on Main St. The high school is on the right. The high school address is 1707 Main St., Sumner.From the South take I-5 to Highway 512 East. Highway 512 East to the Highway 410 East, then follow the directions above. This event location is close to most with a little bit for everyone. A little shopping for some, a little garage talk for the mechanically inclined, a little driving for others, and a chance to share camaraderie and beverage at the end. Questions?
